What is this Benedictine Spirituality?
We meet every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.
Silent meals occur once a month, when spiritual reading replaces
conversation. The following is the usual schedule for the meeting:
6:30 PM-arrive 6:35-Eve. Prayer 7:00-The meal and dessert.
7:45-Bus. Meeting 8:00-Study 9:00-Close
July 11 is St. Benedict's feast day. The Friday
meeting nearest to this day is a silent meal with reading about St.
Benedict.
The Benedictine Spirituality Group is based upon monastic
rule in daily life as designed by St. Benedict. While this rule was
written for persons religious, many of the principles can still guide a
person outside the abbey walls. This goal is not easy, nor should it
be.
Benedictines teach no creed or beliefs, just a well-proven
way to approach God.

exercise, please contact Ray or Kathy Puffer for details.
